5th to 10th August
A rally full of food, fun and fellowship based on an American style supper over three consecutive evenings. We will divide into groups of three, each van providing a starter for six, or a main course or a sweet over the three evenings – not necessarily in that order. We will dine with a different group each time for the whole evening. The provider of the main course might be the logical host but flexibility is the word. Refreshments supplied by the provider of each course to match their food. The watch-word is to keep it simple and enjoy wonderful food and company as you move around the group. We start with a get-together meal on the first night where the rally marshals will hand out the rota. The last night will finish with a BBQ. Coffee meet-ups every morning and daytimes filled with visiting local attractions or just chilling out. Five days of fun showcasing your caravanning culinary skills. Please note that special dietary requirements will be hard to accommodate. There is £10 non-returnable deposit required by the caravan site.
Site fees are expected to be £28/30 per night; first and last night dinners are expected to be about £20/25 a head; there will be a modest rally fee. Any additional catering costs will be up to you.
