15th to 22th June.
Located in the English Riviera, the rally site is situated on the borders of Torquay and Paignton, overlooking the countryside towards Dartmoor. The rally is on Widdicombe Farm, which is a family run site and has modern and clean shower blocks, a restaurant, a shop and its own pub!
There are local walks, cycle routes and easy road links to the Torbay towns of Paignton, Torquay and the fishing town of Brixham. A little further afield you will find Totnes, Dartmouth, Exeter and Plymouth. Torbay has one of the world’s Geo Park statuses, and has historic people linked to its towns, such as Agatha Christie, Isambard Kingdom Brunel and Isaac Merritt Singer (of the sewing machine fame).
There are various places to visit, for example prehistoric caves at Kent’s Cavern, steam trains, zoos, museums, Torre Abbey and National Trust and English Heritage properties. Each town also has at least one theatre, the largest one being the Princess Theatre on Torquay seafront. Further afield you can visit the Plymouth Aquarium, Exeter Cathedral, and Dartmoor, to name just a few things to do.
RMs Christine Carter & David Fordham Assistant RMs Graham & Bridget Hayman.
There are 15 places on this rally.
The site has accommodation for members who would like to join the rally but currently have no Caravan or Motorhome. Please contact the Rally Marshal.
