28th June to 10th July

This longer than usual rally takes in the wonders of north Wales and Snowdonia National Park followed by 5 days (4 to 8 July) at the colourful Llangollen International Eisteddfod, a festival of music and dance. This event, first held in 1947 in the aftermath of war, continues to bring peoples of the world together to share their cultural traditions in peace and harmony, encapsulating the ideals of Rotary. Preferred site is Llandyn Holiday Park in the heart of Dee Valley, the venue of the 2022 Eisteddfod Rally. The site is less than a mile along a tree lined footpath from the centre of Llangollen and a mile and a half from the Eisteddfod field.
As in 2022, a block of seats in the Eisteddfod Pavilion will be reserved for rally participants who will have the option to book tickets for as many or as few of the Eisteddfod sessions as they wish. One or two optional group visits to places of interest will be arranged before the Eisteddfod begins, such as a canal trip across the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, a UNESCO world heritage site, and a visit to Bala and a lakeside trip on its narrow gauge railway. Participants may not wish to attend for the full period, but Fish & Chips will only be provided on the first evening !

Dogs are allowed on the Rally but NOT on the Eisteddfod Field.
